Eros/Cupid was the god of love. Everyone thinks of him as a baby with a diaper and a bow and arrow. However, he is also is depicted as a young man. A Cupid-type guy is admirable. Unlike his mother Venus, Cupid takes a softer approach to love. He believes in true love. Cupid stands for all the good things about love. He fell in love with Psyche, a mortal princess. Their union represents heart (Cupid) and soul (Psyche). Psyche heard his disembodied voice during the day, and had his body to hold in the dark at night. The only downside to this is that she never got to see what he looked like. Psyche accidentally burned him with a candle out of curiosity to see what he looked like. Anyway, his mother Venus was mad that he was hurt. Venus made Psyche do nearly impossible tasks, which Psyche did. When Cupid got better, he and Psyche lived happily ever after. They are the only god couple that was actually happy together. Eros/Cupid-type guys are loving, caring, and are lucky in love. They like taking jobs where they can help people out, being so generous of spirit.
